Project Overview
This project removed two culverts that were blocking access to 7.5 miles of good salmon spawning and rearing habitat and replaced them with a bridge.
We identified this project in 2006 and completed a habitat assessment and geotechnical soils testing to provide design data. The design was completed in January 2008. Permitting, which requires a biological evaluation, was started in February 2008. In addition, we completed the funding application.
All permits were received by November 2008, and we received funding on December 11, 2008.
