Salmon Trail at Headquarters Creek
We realize that alone we cannot hope to achieve our mission.
We aim to achieve lasting salmon recovery by:
- Involving all parties, including landowners, in project planning to ensure that we have their support.
- Encouraging participation of community volunteers in salmon recovery projects, such as planting salmon eggs and salmon carcasses in the stream to reestablish and maintain a natural run.
- Working closely with Willapa National Wildlife Refuge staff and Friends of Willapa National Wildlife Refuge to educate the public about salmon policy issues and recovery efforts.
As part of our community outreach efforts, we have also joined with communities and agencies on construction projects.
| 2003–2006 | Built a boat launch, city floats, and pier for South Bend, Washington |
| 2005–2006 | Designed a nature trail in South Bend, WA |
